The Los Angeles Film Festival, which will take place from June 10th to 18th in Los Angeles, California, has announced several additions to its 2015 program. One of these additions include a master class titled “Boundless Visual Storytelling” with Mathew Cullen, the Director of the upcoming film London Fields, based on the Martin Amis novel and which was filmed back in 2013 with Theo James, Amber Heard, Johnny Depp, Jim Sturgess and Billy Bob Thornton.

This master class is said to include, among other things, a sneak peek of London Fields, which will make this the first look of this highly anticipated film. The following is an excerpt of the press release:

An additional Festival Master Class has been announced. On Tuesday, June 16 acclaimed music video director Mathew Cullen will reflect on his journey as an artist while exploring the evolving art and science of storytelling. Hailed as one of the most imaginative music video and commercial directors of his generation, he will share some of his work, including a sneak peek of London Fields, his upcoming feature directorial debut. Cullen is an alumnus of Loyola Marymount University. The Master Class is sponsored by Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television.

This is excellent news for those of us that have been waiting on London Fields news for some time now. Hopefully it won’t be long until the film is released to the public and all of us can enjoy it. In the meantime, if you are in the Los Angeles area and are interested in purchasing tickets to the master class where you can get a London Fields sneak peek, check out the LA Film Fest website. The tickets are now on sale for $25 each.
