Theo James’ Indie Film ‘Franny’ Finds U.S. Distribution With Samuel Goldwyn Films

Great news Theologians! U.S. rights to Theo’s indie film ‘Franny’, which recently premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, have been sold to Samuel Goldwyn Films. This means that we will probably (hopefully) see ‘Franny’ hit theatres soon!

In a recent statement to The Wrap, Peter Goldwyn of Samuel Goldwyn Films said:

“Richard Gere gives a larger than life performance as Franny. Gere portrays a man on the verge with such talent and depth — he is a true Hollywood legend.  We are incredibly excited to bring this film out to audiences and to work with Andrew, Richard and this remarkable cast”

Similarly, ‘Franny’ Director Andrew Renzi said:

“I’m honored to be working with Peter Goldwyn and the rest of Samuel Goldwyn Films on my first feature film. They have such an impressive history, and I feel very lucky to be included in that tradition”

Well, there you have it  Theologians. QED International will also be looking to sell it for international distribution at the Cannes Film Festival, so stay tuned from more news on that soon.
